Soothing ways.

Touch is an integral complement to RQPsychotherapy.

Tension released from the body, during massage or other therapeutic touch, often liberates deeply hidden and profoundly felt emotions such as sadness, grief, elation, relief or past fear. The uncovering of this valuable intelligence in the emotional body can then be relayed to the psychotherapist in order to address critical personal issues.
Emotions brought to surface in RQPsychotherapy will often become lodged in certain parts of the physical body – stiff back and neck; tight shoulders; headaches; shallow breathing; intestinal problems. These physical symptoms attached to the psyche can be targeted and gently worked out of the body using massage, neuromuscular therapy, active isolated stretching, cranio-sacral or postural (NISA) methods. The RQHealth* team focuses on releasing emotional and physical trauma or pain that has been held unconsciously within the body for extended periods of time – often relating back to childhood or to critical life moments.

RQHealth techniques help free troubling symptoms, allowing clients to discover the ability to better manage life’s challenges, build more rewarding experiences, increase physical and emotional balance and be less susceptible to acute viruses and chronic diseases inherent in stress.
